New Zealand Wine & Wheels Motorhome Tour
February 1 – February 24, 2013
(Sign-up deadline September 14, 2012)
Discover New Zealand by motorhome. Our itinerary includes experiences that you simply don’t want to miss.
Come join us for a 24 day journey where you'll be driving a high quality New Zealand motorhome as we explore both islands of New Zealand!
We will experience camping on farms and in vineyards, visit with and learn about the Maori culture, feast on local cuisine with wine tasting in wine caves as well as adventuring on fjords, glaciers and beaches.
Join us as we explore 9 major wine regions, drive throughout the North and South Islands, cruise across the Cook Strait and visit many of the wonders in the land of the Kiwi.
This tour is restricted to a small group of Harvest Hosts members. We have limited our group to only 6 vehicles and Kim & Don will personally lead the tour.
We will begin our tour in Auckland and end in Christchurch. Our slow pace around the country, an average of 100 miles a day, will provide ample time to enjoy the pleasures of New Zealand.
We will travel as the locals do, in comfortable, newer motorhomes and stay overnight at wineries, farms and assorted camping areas.
