About
As the sun peeks over the horizon, casting a golden glow on the awakening prairie, RV camping enthusiasts seeking a tranquil retreat will find solace amidst the vibrant restoration of a once-forgotten farm in Northeast Arkansas. This unique gem offers a serene escape into the heart of nature, where the melodies of farm life blend seamlessly with the peace of the prairie. RV campers are invited to revel in an authentic farm experience, complete with the opportunity to stroll down inviting trails, ponder the stillness of onsite ponds, and immerse themselves in the earthly delight of a bustling seasonal vegetable garden. This peaceful haven isn't just a stopover; it's a journey through rehabilitation and rebirth. Visitors who respect and appreciate the farm's commitment to recovery and wellness will find their stay not only refreshing but also meaningful. As a sanctuary dedicated to the healing of those from trauma and substance abuse, the farm maintains a no alcohol or recreational drug use policy, including no smoking of marijuana, to preserve the therapeutic environment for all guests. Enrich your RV camping adventure by engaging with the local inhabitants: from chickens to pastured pigs and the gentle charm of rescue alpacas. Partake in the cycle of farm to table by purchasing fresh eggs and vegetables when available, and explore the unique handcrafted goods like felted alpaca dryer balls, hand-knitted accessories, and upcycled market totes, all while contributing to a noble cause. Before setting off on your journey, consider that while AT&T and Verizon cell service can keep you connected to the world, it may not suffice for heavy internet use such as Zoom or Skype meetings. The rustic approach to the farm, a 3-mile journey along a dirt and gravel road, promises a pleasantly passable route with the promise of an off-the-beaten-path feel. For those RV campers voyaging with furry companions, rest assured they are welcome. Yet, the farm asks that you keep your pets leashed at all times, safeguarding not only the local barn cat but also your own beloved animals from the wild residents that roam these lands, such as foxes and bobcats. Embark on that rare RV camping trip that touches your heart, rejuvenates your soul, and connects you to the simpler, yet profoundly rewarding aspects of life and nature. Join the embrace of this nurturing prairie abode and become part of the story of restoration and recovery that blossoms here.
