New Tech: Create a Quiet Bubble
Silentium has created something that might peak the interest of RVers everywhere—a quiet space inside the smallest of spaces. Silentium entered the Active Noise Control (ANC) space, but focused on creating bubbles instead of utilizing it through headphones.
Silentium has created ways to help reduce unwanted sounds by up to 90%. So what does this mean for the RV community? Well, think of the loud engine going down the highway—eliminate it. Think of sleeping in noisy campgrounds—eliminate it. Think about those Walmart parking lots and noisy rest areas—first shame on you for not using your Harvest Hosts Membership… and then eliminate it!
Silentium could even help pet parents who have anxious dogs by eliminating those outside noises while you are gone. It has not been marketed to the RV community yet, but we see a lot of potential uses in the RV market. Do you think it could be useful? How would you use it?
A Highlighted Coach: Winnebago Roam
The Winnebago Roam has taken a beautiful B-Class coach and made it the perfect set up for people with physical impairments. The Winnebago Roam creates a lifestyle of freedom on the open road for people who were previously left on the sidelines, or who had to create solutions for themselves.
This coach features an open floor plan and a remote-controlled wheelchair lift for access in and out of the coach. It offers a private bathroom no matter where your travels take you, which gets rid of the fear of not having access to one when you get out into the wilderness. The kitchen offers a refrigerator, microwave, induction cooktop, and more—all with the idea of a wheelchair in mind.
Winnebago has gone to great lengths to ensure that everyone can enjoy the RV life with this new model in their lineup. This means Harvest Hosts locations can be enjoyed by more people too!
Harvest Hosts is at the RV Supershow
Members of the Harvest Hosts team made their way to Florida for the RV Supershow at the Florida State Fairgrounds this year. If you’ve never been to this RV show, you are missing out on one of the largest gatherings of RVers, RV businesses, and RV travel businesses in the United States. If you make your way to one of these annual shows, you can keep up-to-date with the latest in RV technology. This is where you will learn about the newest in battery technologies, get the chance to see inside hundreds of RVs, get introduced to RV travel tours through Alaska, and rub shoulders with the people behind your favorite Membership programs. While the team was down in Florida, they toured several RVs, answered questions customers had about the apps, and connected with Members. And if you follow them on Instagram, you can see them tour an REI inspired Airstream. So mark your calendar for next year, plan to be in Florida, and meet some of us at Harvest Hosts. We love meeting our Members!
