RV Camping in Arkansas

Arkansas may not be at the top of the list for some RVers to visit, but there are some really incredible places to explore here. RVers, and especially Harvest Hosts members, will want to slow down to see what hidden gems can be found for RV camping in Arkansas. Rabbit Ridge Farms - Bee Branch

This Harvest Hosts location offers a true farm-to-table experience on a beautiful property. They raise pigs, cows, and chickens in a free-range environment that yields a better product. Their meats not only taste better, but are also better for you. This family-owned farm has five reservable spaces for RVs of any size. Please note that dogs are not permitted on this farm. The family has their own working dogs that roam the property to protect the livestock. 

Sanctuary Farm & Rest House - Warm Springs

This unique Harvest Hosts location provides two services. They run a farm that practices regenerative agriculture, and they also operate a rest house for short term and long term guests. The farm itself has walking trails, ponds, a large seasonal vegetable garden, free-range chickens, and ten rescued alpacas. They sell their own vegetables, chicken products, and alpaca products in their on-site farm store. The rest house provides a sanctuary for anyone needing some rest, but specifically for folks recovering from substance abuse, homelessness, post traumatic stress, or facing burnout. They offer three reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. 

Post Winery - Altus

Did you know that grapes have been grown in Arkansas since the 1870s? Post Winery was won of the first wineries established in the state. In 1970, they added Muscadine to their wine offerings, which has been a big hit. Currently, the winery offers nearly thirty wines, which includes Muscadine wines and several all-fruit wines. RVers are welcome to visit the Trellis Room, which is a tasting room and restaurant offering paninis, salads, charcuterie, desserts, and more. They have several picnic tables on-site and their own large parking lot dedicated to RVers and large trucks, making this an excellent stop for a weary traveler. They have four reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. 

Saddlebock Brewery - Springdale

Saddlebock Brewery prides themselves on being environmentally conscious and even grows their hops on site! They are the first production brewery in Northwest Arkansas and and are located right on the White River. Steve, the owner and Brewmeister, has a true passion for beer. He grew tired of the mass-produced beers and took matters into his own hands. He began brewing at home, and his beers became an instant hit with his friends. Before he knew it, he was winning awards for his brews. At Saddlebock Brewery, they strive to provide finely-crafted, traditional beers, made with natural ingredients, brewed exclusively in small batches. Currently, they offer four reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. 

Paw Paw’s Pecans - Atkins

While pecans may not be the number one crop of the state, they are certainly the number one crop at Paw Paw’s Pecans. This family-owned farm grows over 6000 pecan trees! They sell a variety of pecan goods, ranging from raw pecans to candied nuts and pecan oil in their on-site store. They also operate a Bed & Breakfast on site inside their plantation-style home. This Harvest Hosts location offers five reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. 

Titan Ranch - Vilonia

As one of the more unique Harvest Hosts locations, Titan Ranch is a former nuclear missile base that has been converted into a Bed & Breakfast. These fifty-four Titan II Missile Complexes were created in 1962 to house intercontinental ballistic missiles and were decommissioned in 1985. GT Hill purchased one of these decommissioned bases in 2010 and has worked to convert the property into a unique experience. Today, they have a professional event space for meetings, and they also provide spaces for private parties and even give guided tours of the facility. This Harvest Hosts location has ten reservable, pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size. While they do have a few items for sale, the best way to patronize this business is by making a donation in exchange for a tour. 

Tontitown Winery - Springdale

For the Ranalli family, Tontitown Winery has been a family tradition since 1923. Here, visitors are welcome to enjoy a wine tasting or visit the history room, which was constructed in 1917 and is located in the same building as the winery. They offer a variety of white and red wines, and they also have food trucks available on both Fridays and Saturdays. This Harvest Hosts location has one reservable, pet-friendly space for RVs under forty-four in length. 

While the Midwest may not be a vacation destination for all RVers, it’s certainly worth the stop. With all these lovely places to visit, you may want to stay a little longer to enjoy all that there is to see here.![]
