Touring Harvest Hosts Locations in Maine

When entering Maine, most of the welcome signs read “Welcome to Maine: The Way Life Should Be”. This is one of the truest sentiments about the state. From the friendly folks, the beautiful scenery, and the charming towns, it truly is the way life should be. Travelling to Maine or Acadia in an RV is an incredible experience that can only be improved by staying at at least one Harvest Hosts location. Fortunately for you, there are locations scattered throughout the state and almost too many to choose from for RV camping in Maine. We’ve selected just a few to highlight for the next time you head up to Maine.

Owned by a father and son team, they strive to create beers that will always challenge your taste buds in the best of ways. They offer year-round brews along with several seasonal ones. In 2014, they opened Funky Bow Bread and Pizza Company which serves pizza with handmade dough made with spent grain from the brewery. They mainly use locally grown or foraged ingredients. Stop by their tasting room to check out any new or experimental product flavors. This downtown location caters more towards Class B’s or small Class C’s as the parking is limited to single spaces only. Unfortunately towables or RVs towing can be accommodated. 4. Lost Valley Ski Area - Auburn, ME
