This location is a large grass field with a 360’ View with nobody around. This view is of the Southwest Mountain range just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia.....just a 10 minute drive to Monticello. We are on a Virginia Scenic Highway. Our driveway is 1 1/2 miles long. We are located on the east side of Charlottesville in Keswick, Virginia Suggested Local Attractions:Monticello, James Madison’s Montpelier, University of Virginia, and the Historic Charlottesville Downtown Mall, as well as plenty of vineyards in the surrounding area

Access Road Conditions: Our driveway is 1 1/2 miles long, gravel and curvy up the mountain. You will have no problem parking in our large field with a beautiful view. We are an adventuras retired couple who live on a farm. Details: We are a retired couple with three grown children and 8 grandchildren. We travel a lot and love everything outdoors. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and learning about their experiences and sharing ours. We live 10 minutes from Monticello and 7 miles from Charlottesville, Virginia Home Town: Winston-Salem, n.c. Our hometown is Keswick, Virginia. We are located about 7 miles outside of Charlottesville, Virginia. We live on a farm and have been here for 40 years. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have boondocked a lot out west....we love finding a spot beside water....and we love the adventure of finding that perfect spot. We are open to almost anything.

You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful place to camp and you won’t find any nicer hosts than Jane and Woody. They met us at the nearby post office and guided us to our campsite on the top of a hill with unlimited views of the surrounding fields and forests. We had a great chat before settling in for a great dinner and a peaceful rest. Thank you so much, Jane & Woody! We had a great stay!!

Last minute travel plans and this host was super accommodating! So willing to allow us to stop by last minute and went out of her way to meet us in town to lead the way. Location is on spacious farm with grassy, flat parking and peaceful, beautiful views. This place and this kind host will restore your faith in what is good on earth! Thank you JBaker!
