A Place To Stay in The Big Easy

Hey there, we're Mandy and Jasper. A few years ago we traveled the country for six months and stayed with a number of Boondockers Welcome hosts, all of whom were incredibly kind and generous and welcoming. Now we want to pay back their kindness and offer you a little corner of New Orleans to park up for a night. This being the city it's not much, mind you. Our driveway will only accommodate a vehicle up to 25'. But if that's you, you're welcome! Suggested Local Attractions: There's so much cool stuff to do in New Orleans! Sure, there's the fun debauchery of the French Quarter. But there are also great museums and parks; nature walks around alligator-filled swamps; music and dancing; and some of the world's best food! We are located close to City Park which has hiking trails, bike paths, disc golf, lakes etc. It is also home to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and the gorgeous New Orleans Botanical Garden. Visit Couturie Forest in the park for a nice stroll in the woods. Audubon Park is a must visit. A 1.8 mile path winds around beautiful landscape with hundred-year old live oak trees covered in moss. At the Tree of Life you may spot a giraffe in the neighboring Audubon Zoo. Please feel free to use the Little Free Library on the corner of our property.
