i would recommend this places as a vwry easy access with help of host that arranges you in a position for an easy exit. beautiful location and very peaceful. You do have a train that is not annoying because its a diatance away and blends in. Plus they supply electricty if you need and can purchase some fresh eggs. Definetly would stay here again. 🥰

We stayed here for 3 nights in order to visit our daughter and her family in Abilene. Although we weren't on the property much except for sleeping, it was a great place to stay! Communication was excellent before our arrival and during our stay. We highly recommend Salmela's and will stay here again when we visit the area.

This home is so close to the interstate, and we stopped due to threatening weather. Alan and Cheryl put my mind at ease about what to expect from Texas storms. The place is beautiful, calming, AND we got farm fresh eggs! We stayed the max amount of nights and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, again!
