Our RV site is a level concrete Driveway or on an equally level Gravel edge of the Road. We can offer you a 15 Amp Outlet and Water along with Wifi! Suggested Local Attractions:Mc Leans Sawmill Heritage site,.Cruise the Alberni Inlet on the Francis Barclay! We have an Industrial Heritage Museum and nearby Sproat Lake is the Home to the worlds largest operational Flying Boats in existence. The Martin Mars ! A short walk from our place is The Papermill Dam Park with an old fashioned Swimming Hole and access to some decent River Fishing! Port Alberni is Canada’s Fishing Capital, we may be able to hook you up with a Fishing Guide and a Charter Boat. There are several nice restaurants and lots of Grocery Stores in the City Of Port Alberni! There is a City Swimming Pool ,a Library and a Museum. You will discover for yourselves many hidden gems nearby including the Tallest Waterfall in North America, Della Falls!

Location
Access Road Conditions: We are located a short distance off Highway 4 on the western edge of the City Of Port Alberni. No problem getting to our site or back to the highway! Our street is paved and well lit for late arrivals or after a night on the town! We have on occasion parked our own 38 Foot rig across the front of our lot as there is enough width on the gravel to get completely off the pavement and slide outs are not an issue. We recommend rigs longer than 20 feet to park in this manner. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Street parking is available .

Retired Couple who travel a lot! Details: We are both retired after a long working career! We are active RVers who travel extensively throughout Western Canada the USA and Mexico! Rob is pretty well versed in Troubleshooting RV issues! Jean is just ....well pretty nice and really enjoys playing cards! Home Town: Port Alberni, BC The Fishing Capital of Canada! Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have travelled to so many wonderful places that it is impossible to pick an absolute favorite! Skills or Expertise to Share: Experienced in RV trouble shooting and solutions! There’s not much that can’t be repaired!

Very easy to find and parking is easy. We enjoyed a walk down to the river in the evening and even saw a black bear. Very close to a cute coffee shop that’s about a 10 min walk. We enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood and enjoyed looking at some cool houses. Host responded to our text right away so we new we had a place to say right away . Very nice area:)

We were lucky enough to hook up with Rob and Jean for one night. We wish it could have been longer, as they are charming and very friendly people. They graciously offered us water and electric hookups, and were well-versed in local information. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home!
