We are located in a suburban area, east of Richmond, Virginia. There is a variety of local attractions for all interests. We are located between Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. There is limitless possibilities for the history and outdoor enthusiasts. There is hiking, and river fun on the James River and museums, historical sites and battlefields. We are also 45 minutes from Williamsburg and have easy access for day trips to both the beach and mountains. We live in our RV full time, and use the property as our stationary site when we are in the area. We have 3 dogs that travel with us and we also have outdoor cats on the property that patrol for mice and other vermin.

House Rules
We are family friendly and ask that guests be mindful of children. No loud inappropriate music or entertainment. We also have pets and outdoor animals and ask that pets remain leashed and under the control of owners at all times. Guests must park in the gravel area and keep the paved parking and driveway clear.
Location
The entrance to our rv parking is a separate back entrance to our property, available via a paved road. There is a cul de sac at the end of the road for turn arounds. Shorter rigs (35ft and less can pull through and use the front driveway. We pull through with our 35' travel trailer, however 5th wheels will need to be prepared for back in only, since there are trees along the driveway that will not allow for the height clearance. Guests must park in the spot beside the house, or in the gravel area. Electrical cords or hoses must go around the paved parking area. We do have a 50amp, 30 amp & household 20 amp outlet on the house, but it will require an extension cord to reach from the parking spot. Depending on the connection on your rig, a minimum of 60’ is required to access the electric from the gravel parking area. We have access to septic for dumping in the front of the house, if you are able to pull through the front down the driveway, you can dump from the driveway, otherwise you will need a honey wagon. We have a caretaker and tenants in the house, who are not affiliated with this site and do not have access to the information on BW. Please refer any questions or issues to me via text or phone. We only host when we are in town or under special circumstances.

My husband's dream was to retire to an RV, but instead of waiting, we purchased our first RV 2 years ago. We loved it so much we moved into our rig full time. We enjoy traveling as a family and exploring new areas of the country, while having the convenience of our home on wheels coming with us. We use our home/property as our own stationary site when home, and travel regularly. We love meeting fellow RVers and have met some of our favorite people through BW. We've always lived on the east coast, and love exploring the west!

Great night in Va. Felt right at home and accommodations were just as explained. Allison was a breath of fresh air and it was fun comparing notes about children and family. Thank you.

We were so happy to meet our host and her family, in fact, we marvelled at how quickly the time passed during our stay. Services were conveniently located, and the property is pretty—nestled beneath a majestic hardwood forest. We hope to return in the future. Many thanks to our hosts.

This was my second stay at BW with people around. The first was out in the middle of an orchard in NY where I saw no one. So I wasn't sure what to expect being around a family. There were no issues at all, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. High winds forced me to stay put an additional 24 hours. Again, it was a non-issue, and I hunkered down for another restful night. I will defiantly stay there again!
