There are 2 brewing and distillers in the area also, one with a sushi restaurant.. 3 dump stations not to far away, 30 amp electric will be available with small charge otherwise generators are welcome to be ran all day and night if need be and we can provide water if needed through garden hoses from our well, there is a outhouse for your convenience

We work during the week and leave early and return 12 hours later so that being said we do most of our outdoor chores on the weekends, we will limit it to after 8am-5pm, so you will see us out and about doing stuff and possibly making little noise on our little hobby farm.
Location
Plenty of room to turn around and park and tow vehicles, the only problem might be at the beginning turning into the crossing of our driveway off gravel road , we have no issue with a 30 ft travel trailer, if it is a wet year, might have to limit to 1 spot and park on the crushed granite rock

We are from northern minnesota (LOW AREA) love to fish summer and winter, hunt, and just enjoy nature, nothing better than a smell of a bonfire in the crisp evening air. We have a polaris ranger that we take for rides all summer and fall. we love to bike ride on our Ebikes, love sunrises and sunsets. We pick asparagus, wild mushrooms, wild berries. just love to be out every chance we can to relax from a long week of work.

Wonderful location and stay! Best Boondockers Welcome Hosts! Hosts are beyond accommodating, friendly, and kind. Parking is on a big gravel level site overlooking a large grassy area which is quiet, peaceful, and secluded. They provide a nice picnic table, fire pit, and a beautiful and clean outhouse for guests to use. They also have water and electric which is a wonderful plus for any boondocker. Very family friendly! We travel with two young boys and didn’t mind our loud and rambunctious boys playing and exploring their large property. We shared some great conversations and they even offered for us to stay additional nights if needed. Highly recommend Nelson’s Retreat!

Very nice people to deal with. Electricity and water was a breeze. Great location and ease of setting up. Lots of room. And even our own personal outhouse. We will be back. Judy and Steve Laursen
