We are a retired couple (one an ex-teacher of kindergarten and younger, the other, an ex-television director) We make frequent trips to Cleveland and Cincinnati to see grandchildren and family, so although we are not always here, we are happy to share our dock for coffee and relaxation or maybe a kayak or SUP for a little adventure on Apple Valley Lake, (25 minutes from Loudonville). Apple Valley Lakefront homes are mostly second homes for owners but we live here full-time. It is a fun place for kids and adults, though now that we are here full-time, we much prefer the quiet weekdays as opposed to the very busy weekends when everyone comes to play!..;-) Our driveway is short but we do have a 50 AMP electrical hookup that you are welcome to use! Suggested Local Attractions:Loudonville is 22 minutes away and is known as the canoe capital of Ohio! Mohican State Park is there as is Mohican Adventures Canoe Livery and Fun Center with tubing, go-carts and mini-golf. Nearby Ugly Bunny Winery and the Wolf Creek Grist Mill (wine and museum) with food trucks and live music feature fun for the whole family!

Thank you for your understanding! --Please no smoking on the property and no generators after 10PM--You have access to 50 AMP service if you'd like to use it. --We are frequently either in Cleveland or Cincinnati visiting grandchildren so we just ask that you treat the property respectfully and be good neighbors so that we are able to continue offering our home for overnight stays!

RVing couple happy to share our backyard lake with other RVer's! Home Town: Both of us were born and raised in suburbs of Cleveland. We love the Cleveland Browns and also love our position as Redcoats! (Ushers at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland) Favorite Boondocking Locations: We recently bought our dream coach (Newmar 4081) and have not ever boondocked! We spent last winter in Florida, down the east coast and then up the west coast. We plan to do something similar this winter.....after the Cleveland Browns season is over, of course!...;-) Skills or Expertise to Share: No particular skills.

This is by far the most enjoyable place we have ever boondocked. The place was amazing and the host were even more amazing. The were kind, generous and fun loving couple. The boat ride and the chocolate cake on the deck couldn’t have been better. It was far beyond what we could have expected. We felt like we a had known them forever. We came as strangers and left as friends. Hope to visit them again sometime soon.

If you are looking for warm friendly hosts, interesting conversation with really good people --- this is a good choice. They have a lot of interests which are fun to talk about. House is on a 4 mile long lake with a deck right on the water, so if the weather is nice you may be able to join them for a very relaxing view of the lake. It was a pleasure meeting them, and would loved to have spent more time talking and getting to know them. Hope to see them again in the future -- maybe our paths will cross along the way. This slice of heaven was hard to leave. Hosts were kind, friendly, and enjoyable. Location was beautiful and on a four mile long lake that I enjoyed swimming in. Hosts generously offered kayaks and paddle boards. They couldn't have been more gracious.

BLynnes were fabulous hosts., They could not have been more gracious. They were as great as any host we'd ever stayed with. They treated us like friends that they've known for years. Pretty sure we'll get back to see them again.
