This extremely remote, off the beaten track boondocker site was outstanding! Definitely need to have a van style camper. Host was extremely communicative and we had a nice evening sharing travel stories. Highly recommend. Bring bug spray!

Appleton/Hope was back in the woods about a mile, at the bottom of the hill was a fairly level spot to park my class B motorhome/camper van pulling a 12' enclosed trailer. Although we never met with our hosts, the comunicated to us, as to where to park and wished us well. Seemed very friendly. Their little spot in the woods was super peaceful! If you're in the area and like peace and tranquility, you will love this spot. Thanks for your honesty!!

The host communicated well and was very friendly when I met him at arrival. Their property sits way back in the woods and is quiet with just the sounds of nature to fall asleep to. Close to great towns like Camden where we went one day and had a great time. I’d love to go back sometime!

We enjoyed a beautiful stay here in remote rural Maine, still close to interesting seaport cities and plenty of lakes, the best of both water worlds. Wonderful like-minded host who went out of his way to help us out. We loved it and thank you so much!
