Family farm consisting of pasture, pine tree forest, rolling hills and farm ponds. RV sites are adjacent to our farm shed where we store our RV's. This is located right across the public road from our house. This public road is safe for bicycle riding. The trails and pastures are the best for walking or running. Suggested Local Attractions:Don't leave until you've visited Sciples Mill. It's a 200+ year old water powered grist mill. See my video on facebook. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MThLcZlLPs&t=10s. Also visit the Choctaw Indian burial mound, Golden Moon and Silver Star Casino, and Williams Grocery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYjtupAyF5I.

House Rules

Our farm storage shed is equipped with potable water and 50 amp electricity. This is where we store our RV's. If you need to hook up, that's fine but we would appreciate a donation to offset our cost of power and water. AT&T cellular service is available. No Verizon service. Dumping of black water is strictly prohibited. There is a black water septic tank within 1 mile. Our area is very popular for white-tailed deer and turkey hunting. October through January is open season for White Tailed Deer. Food plot preparation is usually August through September. Free roaming around the property is not allowed during these times.

It is the only demerit to our stay. Our hosts are absolutely spectacular people. Great conversations and visits. The road is the only drawback. Some what quiet at night, but folks drive fast. Loved the little horses. No tornadoes thank goodness. We will be back again. Thanks to both of you.

I am so sorry that review was for a different stay. But needless to say we enjoyed our stay here as well. Danny met us with his little dog and a "neighborhood dog". We visited with him for a bit while hooking up. It was great to pull straight in and be able to pull out in the morning. I got a couple of lovely sunrise pictures. We look forward to traveling this way again.

Thank you so much for a great stay. Such great Southern hospitality. We were able to pull right in and park. We were greeted by Anne and Dan and their doggos. Our dogs took a bit to get to know theirs but then enjoyed playing in the fenced yard with theirs. We spent a nice afternoon visiting with them on the sun porch. They offered us bottled water, soda and coffee. They came to give us a hug goodbye the next morning. We will definitely stop by again next time we are in the area.

Danny’s communications were timely. We arrived and parked next to his RV shed; he came out to greet us; we connected to power & filled our potable water tank. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend his suggestion to visit Sciples Water Mill about 20 minutes from his place. Historic & scenic; fortunately we were there on a Saturday, only day Eddy Sciples has the grist mill operating 8-12. Both yellow & white Grits & Cornmeal available to purchase & on honor system when no one there. If we are ever close by again will be sure to stay!!! Highly recommend

Hosts are as charming as one might hope from a Harvest Host location. Joanie and Danny both; made us feel like family. So many things to see on their property, wildlife, ponds, beautiful sunrises, and sunsets in what seems endless fields and woods. We explored Native American burial mounds at the source of the Pearl River. Southern Hospitality abounds with this couple, and we hope to return one day. I highly recommend staying with “Country As It Gets” as it was our favorite experience with Harvest Host. Thank You very much, Joanie and Danny. Our stay with you will be lifetime memories for my wife and me.
