Retired RV couple enjoying the lifestyle Details: Prior to February 2000 my husband was an Avionics Engineer for over 30 years and I had my own business. We both retired in 2000 and left out a couple of days later to travel full time. We thoroughly loved doing that. We did that for eight years before we needed to stay closer to home due to medical issues. We are hoping to hit the road again part time before too long. The last few years we have traveled a lot, but would return to home base for a period of time before going out again. Home Town: We live in a rural area close to Andover, KS. We are about 8 miles from the city of Wichita. Favorite Boondocking Locations: When we travel we don't always know where we are headed or how long we will stay. We start out with a general plan, but are usually open to changing those plans depending on new information from fellow campers, or information from a rest stop as we enter a new state, or a local Chamber of Commerce that we stumble across. We love to winter in Arizona as we have two grown grandchildren living in the Phoenix area. We love to go North in the summer and east or west in the Spring or Fall. We love the scenic locations, especially with a lake nearby and trees to sit under and read a good book if we are just having a leisurely day at the rig. Skills or Expertise to Share: My husband is pretty handy with wiring problems and satellite TV issues. I enjoy cooking, especially making bread and cinnamon rolls.

I would recommend this host to everyone. They are so gracious, Audrey even baked cranberry muffins to share and Corky spent several days with another guest assisting a repair of the brakes 0n his rig, and he helped me test out my rear view camera. Mine was quick, just a loose wire. I will stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Great, kind, well traveled folks. Within 20 mins of the city yet quiet country living. Don’t let the secret out🤫

Very hospitable folks, welcomed us then left us to get setup. What we didn't like is their neighbor's dogs barking half the night.
