We are in the Avondale part of Jacksonville off Hwy 17. Close to us are other neighborhoods such as Riverside, Murray Hill, 5 points and Downtown. There is a park directly across from our road where you can walk dogs. It also boasts tennis courts that are illuminated at night. We have a number of restaurants and eateries in the neighborhood along with grocery stores, gas stations, vintage shops, breweries etc. There is also a laundromat two blocks over. Suggested Local Attractions: We have Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens which boasts free entry The first Saturday of every month and each Tuesday & Friday from 4 to 9 pm. Every Weekend they have a Riverside Art's Market (RAM) approximately two miles from us and it's right on the river and a nice event. Other things include some nightclubs, eateries, walking tours, parks, etc.

We do not discriminate. This is a very Liberal household. It is a neighborhood so no loud noises, no generators, no barking dogs, no animals left unattended, no loud music or drunken behavior. No smoking on the property. When you stay overnight you leave by 10:00 am the next day.
Location
Access Road Conditions: We DO NOT have a shared driveway, however this is an "in-city" property and therefore we're close to other houses. We can accommodate a van. We'll tuck you in against the house and fence for a bit of privacy and you'll have a safe place to sleep for the night. Since you are "in-city" you will be walking distance to Avondale, Riverside, Boone Park, 5 points and a number of restaurants. We'll help you if we can.

Billie and Kathy were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Their home in the Avondale neighborhood is a great place to stay with plenty to do nearby and provides easy access to the rest of the Jacksonville area for lots of other activities. Definitely recommend their home for a night or two.

My stay at Avondale was amazing! The hosts were exceedingly helpful, telling me all the best places to see in Jacksonville! I fell in love with the town. The hosts were so kind! The parking space was perfect and comfortable. I can’t recommend them enough! ❤️

Class Bs only this spot. Streets too narrow for anything bigger. Fit 5 window short bus tightly. Great host helped get us parked. Morning parking available at park down street for dog walking.

The hosts were very cordial and I enjoyed visiting with them. The driveway was fine for my 24 foot Class C. It is close to I 10 and I 95. Grateful for these nice folks who allowed me to stay at their home.
