Fun loving Retired couple Details: Full time Rvers; living in a 45' Tiffin Bus; retired Poultry; cattle and Dog Breeder (AKC Toy Breeds). Had to move from our farm because of husband's allergy to something chemical in the air that causes his throat to swell. So we are now on 10 acres; 3 miles from our farm and enjoying not having any obligations. :-) Billy Joe; hubby; loves to piddle in his shop, I have never seen anything he can't do. I'm house keeper, chief cook and bottle washer. I enjoy cooking, working with my flowers, crafting and just being lazy when I want to be. Home Town: Crystal Springs is a nice little town with some good restaurants and fast food about 6 miles from our place. It was the tomato capital of the world in it's hey day. Enjoy Blues museums, nearby lakes and parks and your Walmart is only 12 miles out. Crystal Springs also has something going on several week ends every month. Music at the pavilion on Railroad Ave downtown. Pretty little town nice folk. Skills or Expertise to Share: Billy Joe has a nice shop in which he has many mechanic tools; wood working tools, welder etc. He is a wealth of knowledge and can pretty much do anything; I also enjoy piddling with him. He has a Wood Mizer portable sawmill. When we have dead pine trees; he makes lumber. We just plain enjoy staying busy as our bodies will allow. Our days are short; we love sitting under the porch; bird watching and enjoying the flowers in the yard. I like to craft when in the mood; crochet some; and enjoy cooking.

Communication was easy and they always responded quickly! We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and were shown where to park. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full hook up site with a 50amp set up. The host was there for any questions! The site is nice and level, easy to get into, though you will need to back in, but there is plenty of space to do so! The hosts were very welcoming and kind, got to spend a bit of time chatting with them throughout our stay. They even let us stay an additional night so we could cut out a travel day! The location is great, only 30 mins from Jackson, and has restaurants, grocery stores and laundromats within a short 20 min or less drive. Will certainly stay again if in the area!

When we pulled up we were greeted by Fran and Billy. They are a wonderful host and offering any help we might need. We would highly recommend staying at the Back Forty Farm.

We had an amazing time w Fran and Billy Joe. They’re just genuine southern folks and live up to the reputation of classic southern hospitality. We enjoyed talking w them in the evening and walking our 2 beagle pups on their property as they tracked deer. The FHU is also always a plus ! Will definitely come back if we’re in the area. Thanks Fran and Billy Joe !

We requested two, nights but ended up staying three. The hosts are amazing and hospitality is their gift! Arrival and set up were very easy. The directions from the host brought us right to the place. We enjoyed sitting outside and chatting with the hosts. They were very accommodating. Our host even shared some delicious cake from a new recipe she tried. We would definitely stay here again!
