We have very quiet location off a dead end township road. Electric hookup is available to avoid generator use. Suggested Local Attractions:The Mississippi River and all its splendor. Wineries, craft beer, distilleries, on every corner, hey it’s Wisconsin! And of course cheese factories, dairy farms and the Amish. We are part of the driftless region, so hills, bluffs and winding roads. Hiking and biking trails and trout streams. We take it for granted, but visitors tell us it is one the prettiest areas they have visited. Fall colors - WOW !

View was great, they offered us a beautifup place to hike to on their property! We were a bit early for rhw fall colors, but can imagine how even more beautiful it would be! Friendly host, dog Roxie and friendly cows! So perfect thank you!

my partner, the mr, and I had the good fortune to stay at Dave & Jerri’s backacres and meet some of their family, including grandson, Miles, and Rottie, Roxie! Dave & Jerri were helpful in ensuring we got to their place & not on the Kloss Addition. The view was spectacular, if you want peace and occasional cow lowing, maybe a nice hike in woods & pasture, then go! Don’t wait. La Crosse is near by & your hosts will tell you places to check out, like the mr and my Saturday “lunch” at both Pearl Street- Brewery & separately, -Ice Cream store, and coffee near by! Grand Dads Bluff was added bonus!

We were fortunate to be able to enjoy Jerri and Dave's hospitality on the last night of our South Dakota trip. There was plenty of room and a great view. Unfortunately for us, it was a mostly rainy evening. It would have been great to sit out and take in the view. Plenty to do in the La Crosse, Sparta, Ft McCoy area. Thanks Jerri and Dave!!

This is a beautiful place with a gorgeous view. The drive up to the house is pretty steep and gravel. Such a nice couple. We enjoyed getting to know them around a fire. Very peaceful.

The hosts greeted us when we arrived and showed us where we could park even though they were very busy with farm work. Had a nice quiet evening with power and were able to get water on our way out. Great conversation with the host in the morning before leaving. Would recommend and stay again if in the area!
