Bittersweetfarm is a working cattle farm in NE Missouri about 10 miles from the Iowa border. There are 300 acres of grassland pasture and woods. This part of NE Missouri has rolling hills, there are a few small towns, Kirksville MO is the largest town and is about 25 miles SW of here. Thousand Hills State Park is located just west of Kirksville. Memphis MO is just east of here and has a very large lake that is well known for fishing. Keokuk Iowa, on the Mississippi, is 60 miles east of the farm. Just north of Keokuk on the Illinois side of the river is the historic town of Nauvoo, home to many restored Mormon structures and the recently recreated Nauvoo temple.

I have outdoor dogs and cats. If you are traveling with animals please make certain that there are no conflicts. This is a working cattle farm so dogs must not be aggressive with livestock.
Location
The driveway access to the farm is a steep uphilll gravel drive. It is in good condition however it also serves as a farm lane for tractors. Heavy rains can increase the possibility of muddy patches.
