We are located half way between two medium size towns with Wal-mart, fast food, banks, gas stations, drug stores, theaters and interstates to bigger cities. We are located only 30 miles east of Indianapolis with tons of things to do nearby. Suggested Local Attractions:Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Children's Museum, NFL (Colts) and NBA (Pacer) games. We have two great restaurants in Morristown. The Bluebird offers a wide variety of menu items and the Kopper Kettle specializes in family style dining. There's even a great pizza and ice cream shop next to the school, Sister's Pizza.

House Rules

If you smoke on the property, please be careful with your butts! We have farmland around us and don't want to cause crop damage with a fire. No Laundry on premises but there are places within 7 miles. No drunkenness, drugs or wild behavior. Our daughter, son-in-law and their family live in the house in front. Please do not bother them unnecessarily. We live in the barn at the back of the property, where you'll be parking. We want you to be comfortable while you are here so if in doubt, just ask.

Location

Access Road Conditions: We live off a main highway on a paved country road. The driveway is gravel. If the ground is solid there will be no problem turning around in the grassy areas. If the ground is soft we can help get you out of the driveway. There are no wires overhead to worry about. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: If you have a TOAD let us know and we can arrange a spot to park it while you visit.

Boondockers Too Details: We are semi retired. I like to travel whenever possible, Jim, not so much. Over the years we have had a variety of RV's from pop-ups, Hi-Low, RV and a trailer. Currently, I use a van as my camper for one. Most of our travels have been in the Midwest, east and southeast. Future trips are planned for the west and southwest. We have a home in the country with feral cats running around on our three acre. Three house doggies rule the roost and enjoy a fenced yard. Our trailer uses one 30 amp plug but we do have another on the property. Home Town: Our hometown consist of about 1,300 people. We enjoy having a world famous restaurant, The Kopper Kettle, that serves family style meals surrounded by antiques. Another well known restaurant in town is, The Blue Bird. They enjoy a busy patronage for their weekend buffet (the buffet has been shut down due to COVID). We also have two "fast" food types of locally owned restaurants, two gas stations, a bank machine at the closed bank and small public library. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Someplace warmer than Indiana in the winter! Skills or Expertise to Share: We like people and enjoy sharing stories and travels. If mechanical help is needed we can help with the small jobs or guide you to places you can get the help you need.

Very convenient for our trip, they were very welcoming, provided wifi, and water and/or electric, if needed. Private, gravel drive. Perfect for an overnight.

Our hosts for the evening were very accommodating and friendly. The spot is level and the even has 30amp service if needed. We are so thankful they had it too because the night we stayed it was pretty humid so running the a/c was great. Couldn't have asked for a more peaceful place. Thanks again for sharing your property.
