Such a welcoming couple! All that was missing to make us truly feel like royalty was a red carpet. We were treated according to the Golden Rule, keeping COVID-19 social distancing in mind, given freedom to ride the owners' golf cart, gather wood for gathering around the firepit, and even given a homestead tour. We also enjoyed Lake Talisi Riverwalk Trail and the farmer's market next to the Tractor Supply Store in nearby Tallassee. Both the Barndominium property and Fleahop have unique stories. We share the giving spirit with our hosts and swapped produce... So excited to cook purple hulled peas for the first time like "they do in the South"! We were delighted with this down-home Alabama stay.

Quiet and nice place to stay under a covered roof. We did not get to meet our hosts but they were very kind to let us stay and made sure everything was ok when we got there. There is a nice river walk in Tallasee that we walked on too. We recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Our host is wonderfull! We were in a jam. Our stay at Gunter Hill was cancelled due to flooding when We were almost there. We contacted Barndominium and he told us to come on. Even though he wasn't there! And he let us stay longer than 2 days. This is a friendly caring man. A big thank you to him.
