This was a nice stay for us in spite of not feeling well. We took the time to chill out and recuperate before hitting the road again. We appreciate this peaceful space in the woods to be able to do just that. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating to help us in anyway they could. They also offered to go to bluegrass concert one night but unfortunately we didn’t feel up to it. It would be great to return to this space again in the future. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great overnight with Basecamp RCP. Great communication, directions, and wonderful place to spend the night in a park like setting. The fence was buried in fresh blackberries and we enjoyed a very welcome rainstorm off and on thru the night. No problems with mud or flooding as it is high ground with a lot of rock in the soil. We also enjoyed a short walk to the pond and around a wooded area. Excellent hosts, beautiful location, hope we can return again!

Base camp is a wonderful Boondockers Welcome location. It is peaceful and private. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, meeting us at the road to be sure we didn’t miss the driveway and seeing us off to make sure we got out of the driveway safely. Even though they had had a guest visiting, they found time to check in with us each day to see if there was anything we needed. They provided suggestions of scenic areas for us to ride, invited us to attend Sunday services with them and spent an evening swapping travel adventures. We will definitely stay again if we come back this way and look forward to hosting them someday.

We visited Branson then drove about one hour through beautiful woods and ranch land. The host met us and gave great directions. They have a nice home in the trees and a large open area off the driveway. The hosts were most gracious and welcoming. Great visit!
