Please feel to park anywhere in the clearing. Either on the grass or wood chips is fine. NO CAMPFIRES You will notice a camera in a birdhouse on a pine tree to the east of the campsite. We have always enjoyed dry camping on family and friends properties and now looking forward to expanding our boondocking experience and sharing our site. Details: Started remote camping in the 70's with a 2 man Eureka and a 16' tripper canoe. Over the years evolved to larger tents and canoes and eventually to our Roadtrek Zion. We have always enjoy getting away from the beaten path and dry camping. We now live in Bayfield, ON and own an adjacent 1 acre treed lot that is open to boondockers. Our lot is within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and bars. It is a quiet and private retreat. Home Town: Bayfield, Ontario Favorite Boondocking Locations: Small villages, country lots and forests. Skills or Expertise to Share: Electronics, handyman and lots of boondocking experience

thanks for letting use stay in this dry boondock site just few steps to the lake and the charming Beafield. Quiet and safe place . Good communication with the host that is not living on the site.

Delightful private oasis close to areas of interest. I was new to the area and was visiting friends who were camping nearby. Lot is level (at least enough for me). I had a few bunnies scamper off when I arrived.

The setting was meticulously maintained. All information given was very clear and precise. Excellent place to lay your head. Would have liked to stay longer.

Need a small self sufficient rig to navigate the entrance and live without hookups but then plenty of secluded space at the campsite. Other tenants were bunnies, robins and some mosquitoes 😄 Bikes are the best way to explore beautiful Bayfield. Then you can cool off in the lake but water shoes are advised due to the stones.
