Family dentist in this town for 39 years Details: Country boy from Ohio transplanted to the Jersey Shore. Married in 2017 to a woman who loves to travel. We just need more time to do it! Home Town: Barnegat is a quaint old town on the mainland of the Jersey Shore about 30 miles north of Atlantic City. It offers a lot of the small town charm with antique shopping, fishing, crabbing and boating. Beautiul beaches of Long Beach Island are a short drive away, as are the boardwalks of Seaside Heights and its summer excitement. The casinos of Atlantic City are about 45 minutes away, and you can be in Philadelphia or New York in and hour and a half. It's a home town that offers a great life. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Although I've been hosting for a few years, we have only used the service as a guest twice, so I won't play favorites. Hope to use it a lot more when I retire. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have some knowledge of computers and a little about small networks, my office network seems to need a lot of tweeking. Sort of a Jack of All Trades kind of guy. Oh, I'm also pretty good at fixing teeth, for what it's worth.

This was our first time using BW and I'm so glad we chose to stay at Bayside Boondocking because we had a wonderful experience!  Gordon (the host) offers a spacious pavement parking lot with hook ups, wifi, water, a picnic table an a beautiful small pond. It was quiet, felt safe and had a nice view of trees surrounding us. Gordon texted me with a full explanation of where things were, how to access them and even notes like "be careful here because you may bump your head". That alone shows what kind of person he is! We stood for one day, so we didn't get to meet the host but hopefully next time because we WILL be back! Excellent space with an excellent host!!

We had a great stay at Bayside Boondocking! Our 3500 Promaster fit easily next to the picnic table, electricity was amazing, we were offered water, to use the trash and were sent detailed directions that made use feel very welcomed. We would definitly look forward to staying Bayside again.

Unfortunately the night we stayed they were doing road construction which was loud and a traffic issue. We arrived late and left early. The field off the lot was large and had a picnic table. We did not need the power cord so we did not look but very nice of them to offer. I definitely highly recommend this stay.

we had a great day here! Gordon was very friendly and we had planty of space at the back of his lot. He provided power, water and let us use his dumpster. Definitely would stay here again!

Great host who gave detailed instructions and greeted me with even more help. Level paved spot with grassy area. Electric! And topped off my water tank! Really can’t be beat. Thank you!
