Hi there! I'm delighted to begin traveling in my vintage 1976 Barthmobile, having adventures, making connections, and making the most of my time. In 2017, I got very sick. Since then, life has become even more precious. Between cancer surgeries and treatments, I'm a professional copywriter, mom, photographer, and lover of nature and animals. See you out there!

We stayed two nights in Los Osos with Sara and her husband Chris. They were so kind and informative, we had some great conversations. They provided water and power and a peaceful place to rest. The town is very cute and quiet, ringed with sandy beaches and lined with pine trees. The driveway is shaded so expect to have to plug in. Temperature stays between 50-70 most of the year. Mornings are foggy, afternoons can be very sunny and just warm enough to swim in the summer. Morro Bay is the next town over and is also very cute with lots of little shops. Montaña de Oro State Park is 15 minutes away with lots of hiking and cove beaches. Avila Hot Springs is about 20 minutes away, though you can also boondock there for $55 a night all included.
