Happy-easy going Details: I am a practicing reflexologist who loves to travel with my two four legged friends. I love my mountain town with all of our beautiful lakes and streams and places to hike, but my heart is especially filled when I am at the ocean. When I am not pulling my trailer, you are likely to find me hiking a mountain trail with a backpack on in order to get to the especially beautiful/ quiet places, or taking on long walk on a beautiful beach. Home Town: Mt Shasta Calif is my home town Favorite Boondocking Locations: My local mountains. And so far, the Calif and Oregon coast Skills or Expertise to Share: I am certified reflexologist and can share self healing techniques using reflexology. I also like to garden and have done some sewing for a living.

Cheryl , our host, is our new best friend. Absolutely delightful person. Loved her gardens and of course her 2 dogs. We felt we had arrived back home. If you have only one opportunity to try BW, this is your only spot to be. From the moment Cheryl met us at the door it felt like we had known each other for years. Cheryl’s location and experience rates more stars than are available. Happy RVing.

Pulling up to the front of Cheryl’s home, in what has the looks of a classic suburban neighborhood, you might be thinking, “where the heck am I gonna fit here??” But you drive straight up the driveway and into another world. The back yard is a huge garden — two, actually — and there are a few finished wooden sheds here and there, with a large looped gravel drive-way. Cheryl has her R-Pod out front, and a retired classic pick-up truck along the way. When I pulled my Class B in, she greeted me with good cheer, and offered me use of the upper half of her garden as a relaxation space, complete with table, chairs and an outstanding head-on view of Mt. Shasta. The shed that stood in that area serves as her studio, and she offered a plug-in for shore power if I so desired. The shed nearest the parking spots is, I think, used for more typical storage purposes. And the third, off behind the gravel loop, is, I think, in use as a tiny home, judging by the humming AC unit and the 2 vehicles that cozied up to it each night. Cheryl apprised me of unite a few trails and waterfalls and lakes in the area, and I had a great time going off to explore Faery Falls, Castle Lake, and McCloud Falls (Upper, Middle and Lower). Great area, and Cheryl is a great host! Don’t miss her if you’re in the area!

A beautiful sanctuary just off highway 5 that came at the perfect time on our drive. The host was welcoming and accommodating. She had fabulous recommendations for hiking and vistas in the area. perfect spot for a stay in a small rig in the Mt Shasta area!

Cheryl is the best! Even though we were a bit tardy she was very warm and welcoming, I just wish we could have spent more time with our visit but we had to get our daughter to her new job. Cheryl made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She also made sure our fur baby had a place to run and water. Thanks Cheryl for such a great stay!! Highly recommended.
