Energetic and hardworking usually on my property Details: I graduated from LSU, worked overseas for many years and have come back home to live on my property in sw Louisiana. I would like to make these 14 acres into a campground, cabins and have rvs as well. I'm surrounded by 5 plantation homes within a hours drive, 45 minutes to bourbon st New Orleans and Baton Rouge and 30 minutes to a great alligator and swamp tour. The food is great too. My day usually begins at 5, coffee with my two dogs, then mass at 630 and the rest of day cutting grass and planting. Home Town: Thibodaux Louisiana Favorite Boondocking Locations: Not sure. Skills or Expertise to Share: I know a lot about many things but not very skilled in anything.

Robert took us for a tour of thibodeaux! He took us also to a place where we could buy crawfishes. We stayed one night , everything was perfect but too short. Robert is an angel!

we stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. You are going to love your host Robert. He is the nicest man you could wver hope to meet. Additionally you will love the property you are camping on. We had accwss to water which was great. There is so mych to see and do and youll never be bored. lots of Plantation houses and a slave village very close, museum, cultural centre which we attended a concert with Robert! and New Orleans not far but far enough away. Thankyou for a beautiful stay. Hope to see you again

Initially we booked for a two night stay but ended up staying four nights as we loved the place so much. Very quiet with a large amount of space between us and a few other campers. Robert is usually around taking care of the property offering us water and the use of his laundry machines. He is very friendly and approachable taking time out of his chores to have conversations. He provided us with great information about the area and where to visit in New Orleans. This has been my favorite place to stay so far and will try to make it back. Thanks Robert!

Robert’s property is beautiful, but he makes the experience. We wish we could have stayed longer. We were able to select where we wanted to park. Robert not only shared his eggs and oranges, but he shared himself. What an amazing man. The only downside for us was that we have a 44’ RV that sits really low. We drug the bottom of the camper when we turned off of Robert’s long lane. No damage, but something others may want to be aware of. Having said that, we will definitely go back given the opportunity.
