Access Road Conditions: About an 1/8 of a mile of gravel off Highway 63. We have a 40' 5th wheel with a tow truck and we can turn out of the driveway with no problem. We have had a 42' motorhome here as well and had no problems turning onto the road. A large rig with a tow vehicle may have difficulty making the turn out of the driveway onto the road. We have a circle drive to use as a turn around or to pull into to back up to the parking spot. The parking spot is on gravel. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is parking available in the driveway.

Less than a Year to living the RV life! Details: My husband Darren and I are newer RVers and can't wait to have more days out on the road. We will be fully retired from public education in less than a year and look forward to seeing America. We love to travel and playing golf is always a focus on our trips. Family is very important to us and our elderly parents live with us along with two dogs, a Husky and a German Shepherd. We look forward to making new friends and sharing stories about places to go and things to see/do. Home Town: Our hometown is Moberly, Missouri. It has a population of 13,000 and is located on Highway 63. We are 30 miles north of I-70 about halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis. We are 25 miles south of Highway 36. Our property is a couple of miles north of town and just off Highway 63. We have a Wal-Mart and Lowes along with a couple of other shopping options, but no real grocery store. There is a beautiful park in town, a movie theater with a drive-in, and a golf course. There are several eating options including fast food restaurants, 4 Mexican restaurants, Pizza, BBQ, and Family restaurants. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We haven't had a chance to stay anywhere yet. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are both educators and love to golf.

It was a pleasure meeting the parents of the host . They were very friendly and had some really good stories to tell. I highly recommend this stop if you are in the neighborhood.

Darren and Lesa were great communicating with us before our stay and made sure we had the hookups we needed to charge our batteries and run our AC. Their property is just off the beaten path north of Moberly and only required a short 1/4 mi drive down a gravel road & driveway to get to our spot. We pulled in after dark but they helped us get parked and we had a quick chat, introduced our dogs, and hit the hay. Got up early and pulled out right onto the highway and made our way up to the Des Moines area for Hinterland Music Festival. Thanks again to these awesome hosts for making our first Boondockers stay comfortable and easy!

When we arrived, Lisa came out and showed us the parking location, which was nearly level gravel within 10 feet of the 30amp outlet and water. We had a nice talk, met her two dogs, and were able to settle in for the evening. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place to overnight.
