Nice quiet place right in the village. Nice biking, did not have to drive our van the whole time we were there. Both hosts were very available . Would return if headed that way again.

We had a fantastic stay in Tupper Lake thanks to Bencze. We were welcomed and guided during our stay by excellent texts. We had a fun food truck dinner at a local brewery that was a short walk from the site. We kayaked the local lake. The location was very central within the Adirondacks. THANKS so kindly for the stay and making us feel welcome.

This was our first time in the Adirondacks and we had no idea where to start. Fortunately for us we were approved to stay at Bencze’s and our host, Sara, met us just after arrival. She gave us some great guidance as to where to hike, bike, and explore. Lake Placid was a short drive away, the Adirondack Trail was a few blocks away, and there was a great brewery with food trucks a short walk from our spot. The actual parking area isn’t much to look at, but it was peaceful and the beauty of the Adirondack area more than made up for that!

As we were thinking about heading home from northern NY we decided to make a run through Adirondack Park since we had not been by Tupper Lake in many years. A quick search and we found Bencze's Boondocking; we filed a request and were amazed by the fast reply. We got directions, found it easily and were set up in no time. The site is very large and level and more importantly within walking distance to a brewery. :-) Our hosts were very friendly and extremely welcoming and generous. When we are back in the area we will not hesitate to see if they have room for us. Thanks so much!
