We are a couple of retired teachers who enjoy travelling. Details: We like exploring new places and having the opportunity to meet people. We are especially fond of finding interesting spots close to beaches or small towns, where we can park our 20ft travel trailer for a night or two. We like places that offer areas to walk, ride our bikes, or just relax. We enjoy the chance to learn about the history of an area and sample the local cuisine. Home Town: We live in a small picturesque seaside community called, Hubbards on Nova Scotia's south shore. We live near a number of beautiful beaches and are close to Peggy's Cove and the historic town of Lunenburg. As well, we are just a 40 minute drive away from Halifax City. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We like to travel on the smaller highways through small towns, stopping by a picnic area or by beaches. Skills or Expertise to Share: We have enjoyed many years of traveling, first with a tent, then pulling a tent trailer, then a small R-pod, and now we have a 20 ft. Prolite. Our travels have taken us all across Canada, the Magdalen Islands and throughout the eastern United States. We have traveled across Canada in a 23ft Class C. We have also camped by tent in Germany, New Zealand and California.

This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hosts were kind and welcoming, gave us great recommendations about the area (had a lovely walk in the neighbourhood) and made us feel so at "home." Spot is quiet and level. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. Thank you very much, Terry & Cherie! ~ Don & Theresa

We stayed for only one night but we really enjoyed it. The host gave us plenty information about the surroundongs and place to visit. Next morning, we felt relaxed and ready to keep on travelling! Thanks for everything.
