This was a fantastic stay. The views were great. Couldn't ask for better views from a campsite! We love to watch birds and there was plenty to watch. We seen eagles, ducks, geese and several other bird species. The hosts were very gracious!! So welcoming and friendly. This was a very quiet and relaxing stay for us. I'm sure we will be returning in the future!!

A bit challenging for us to find the site but gave it a 5 for access because the location was incredibly well worth the effort!!! Everything that can be said about the genuine hospitality of Tom & Phoebe and their location has already been said and without exaggeration!!! We can only add that their natural kindness is truly a blessing and example of how each of us can make the world an easier place for others to live in.

We stayed at the Big Buffalo cove for 3 nights. When we arrived, we were given the option of staying up the hill or close to the water. We chose the water! The view was amazing! Our hosts were gracious, down to earth and very welcoming. They treated us like old friends. We would definitely recommend a stay at Big Buffalo cove!

If you want peace, quiet, tranquility, waterfront, friendly hosts, fishing, wild life, then this is the place for you! Everyone else writes about the road...Yes, its all true, but worth the trip. Go slow. Communication was great. Tom and Phoebe welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home almost immediately. They are both great communicators and enjoy other folk's company. We ended up spending most of an afternoon with them on their open porch enjoying the weather and the conversation. They then went so far as to invite us for dinner! Tom made a wonderful meal of smoked country style ribs, smoked baked beans, salad, and warm dinner rolls. Delicious! Tom was also in the process of adding lithium batteries and solar charging to his class A and offered me a deal on his 1 year old batteries that he was replacing that I couldn't pass up. They are now installed and working great. We were only able to stay for 2 nights as we were on a shake down tour before heading to the gulf for 10 days. If they will have us, we will certainly stay again. These guys are first class as is their property. You won't regret your stay here.

Tom & Pheobe were wonder hosts. Their property is stunning with great views of the lake. They offered a couple different locations on their property both with 30&50amp service. If I'm back through this way, I will definitely look them up again. Thanks again Tom & Pheobe!
