Log cabin on 5 acres, close to Old Hickory Lake. About 15 minutes off of I-40. Nashville is about a 25 minute drive, depending on the traffic. Easy roads to get here and big rig friendly. No hookups available at this time, but we are working on adding electric. We have no restrictions on using generators. Although our location is somewhat secluded, we are close to whatever you need. Providence Shopping Center is about 15 minutes away with shops of all kind as well as a movie theater. Grocery stores, fuel stations, and restaurants are all within 3-5 minutes of the property. We recommend using Google Maps to navigate to us. We have found that vehicle-based GPS units cannot seem to find us.
Vehicle Suitability Information
Pets Welcome
Separate Tow Vehicle Parking
Outdoor Cooking Allowed

House Rules
Pets are welcome, but please have them leashed. Deer, turkey, and other wildlife are routinely on the property and we wouldn’t want you to lose your pet while they are chasing a scent. As any host would ask, please pick up after yourself. Generators welcome all times, day or night.
Location
For ease of entry, please come up North Green Hill Rd then turn onto Needmore Rd. Boondocking area is approximately 200 feet up the driveway on the right side. You’ll see a well maintained field that can accommodate two separate rigs. Tow vehicles can stay attached, as long as you don’t need to back in. Area is large enough for one rig to turn completely around. If two rigs are staying, backing in will probably be necessary. *If you are traveling with a group of more than 2 rigs, message us and we can most likely make arrangements.

We are Nashville natives. I am a high school teacher, coach, and Athletic Director; my wife is an RN. My wife has been RVing most of her life. I tent camped most of my childhood (started in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts) and early adult life then got into RVing in 2015. Since 2020, we’ve taken our travel trailer to more than 35 states and visited many wonderful places. We have a well maintained and renovated Jayco Jayflight 31BHS. We have 2 children and a well behaved dog.

We had a peaceful night listening to the rain. Unfortunately, all the rain made it a little adventurous getting out in the morning. I apologized for making some tire marks in the grass. Host said not to worry!

David was super helpful in helping us to park after dark. We accidentally drove into the driveway prior to his, and he located and directed us to his place, and made sure we were settled well 🙂

The animals were quiet. The spot is mostly level and the owner will be there to help you back up. really close to the fence when leaving.
