House Rules

Close gates, Keep the place clean. Horses, donkeys, and goats love carrots and apples. Free boondocking for 2 days but a day fee for hookups. ONLY 30 AMP.NO 50 AMP ALLOWED. Because we have donkeys that are very friendly to people. But people must understand that donkeys see any dog as a threat and will attack strange dogs . When the donkeys are in the field where we have the RVs, the owners must keep an eye on their dogs and not let them off a leash or the donkeys will try to kill them.NEVER, EVER LEAVE A MESS THAT I HAVE TO PICK UP OR THE GARBAGE TRUCK WON'T PICK UP'

U.S. Special Forces retired Details: .We bought this place to get away from the fast lane. My family grew up in south Florida. Alice and I decided we needed a change. Now I rescue horses. We also have goats, ducks, geese, donkeys, dogs and cats. No pigs. We live the laid back southern life. If you mind visits in the morning from the horses, goats, and donkeys this place is not for you. They are all very friendly. You can have water ,garbage30 amp electric only but no dumpstation here. When my kids were small and I was still in the Army we traveled a lot. I found it hard to find places to stop and camp in the states unless we went to a Park. That is why I put the camp sight on my property. We want people to enjoy our place .It is secure, safe, and open to people that want a place that is comfortable.I have had people here that wanted to be out in the woods and away from electric and hookups so I cleared out places for parking a RV in the woods on the other side of the pond. They are beautiful and peaceful and I know some will love them. Home Town: Miami now here. Favorite Boondocking Locations: My horse pasture Skills or Expertise to Share: So many

We arrived in the early evening and were not sure where to park our RV, after we got the instructions we got stuck on the field cause the field was pretty muddy and wet. but with the help of a tractor and very nice people we made it out a day later. probably a good stay and a lot of space over there but make to not get stuck like i was.

I was raised that if you didn't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything, so . . . .

Had to pay $25/night for electricityčĄ». Couldn't go outside my rv without dogs constantly barking at me from permanent campers. The lot has more craters than the moon...

We really appreciate the signage and good instructions! This was a quick stop over for us. We had the carrots ready for the animals but yhey were in the other pasture. Highly recommended, just watch your step in the pasture!

Lovely field to explore, inhabitants of next field easily bribed with apples and carrots.
