In the foothills of the Santa Cruz River Valley. Just North of of Nogales and the Mexican border. Great view. Be prepared for some up, down, twists, and turns on the way up to our site. It’s doable. ;)

A low-key retired couple from Southern AZ. We host for BW. Not many guests in hotter weather. ;). We like to bike when out. Pretty quiet. Not anti-social but don’t expect to be entertained. We were BW guests for the first time during a trip in September 2022. Great experience.

While arranging our stay Bill was gracious and very prompt in writing to us. His spot is on a flat concrete driveway with a gorgeous view from a mountain ridge over the valley. At night the twinkling lights of Nogales are pretty and you can see as far as the town in Mexico. We stayed two nights and were able to bbq supper and enjoy waiting outdoors. Thanks!

Bill and Ann could not have been more gracious! Truly great people who have an abundance of local historical knowledge and recommendations on activities in the area. Will stay with them again if I'm in the area.

Bill was an amazing driveway host! Quick to respond to messages, so very generous and kind to offer his place for us to stay at the last second because we had something else fall through. His house is located in a GORGEOUS area near Nogales, very easy to get to along seriously beautiful, paved roads. I wish we had had more time to go for walks up in Rio Rico because that area lends itself to fantastic walks with amazing views! Level area to park in front of the house plus Bill offered us electricity! If we're back in the area some day we'd love to stay here again. Thank you so much Bill and your wife for allowing us to stay at your place! All the very best!!!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The hosts were great people and helped us to plan our day into Mexico. They even provided us a place for our dog Hūk to stay while we were gone. I think that Bill and Hūk became good friends during that time. The next morning Bill gave us some maps to help us on the next leg of our trip. The maps were very helpful. This was a very beautiful place and we will stay here again if we are in the area again. Thanks for the nice stay.
