We had a private, level spot and our host was very gracious and informative! Chatted for awhile by a blazing fire and our little dog was very enchanted by all the semi-tame bunnies! Zena says hi to Lily! Thanks so much for your hospitality and advice; we had a great time visiting your area!

We stayed one night on our way to Newfoundland. We had some problems with our truck and our hosts were very helpful. The property is well set up. Easy access and egress. Beautiful scenery.

Birch Grove was a quiet restful overnight stop after getting off the ferry in N. Sydney. Directions were perfect, and the site was plenty spacious to turn around in. Easy in and out. Host was very gracious and even offered to show us where to pick wild blueberries. So sorry we didn't have time to stay longer. Strongly recommend this beautiful place.

Anne and Mel were good host, invited us to their campfire and ment family. Allowed us to come in early and still stay until August 1 to catch ferry to Newfoundland. I looked around area, very nice old coal mine reopened in area, miners museum as well as close to ferry to Newfoundland. We hope to see them in the 1000 island area to return this favour.
