We have a house in the Bitterroot Valley on Highway 93 near Stevensville Montana. There is a trout stream and pond in our backyard. We have 15 reasonably open acres and a place to plug in a 30 amp. Well-behaved dogs could go off leash. There is also a bike trail across the road that goes 25 miles in each direction. You can ride all the way to Missoula to the north or Hamilton to the south. UPDATE: We have an 18 month old , a German Shorthaired Pointer (mostly) that is slowly learning her boundaries yet, and may be an uninvited visitor during your stay. Delilah, who is mostly Chihuahua, may come looking for treats. Suggested Local Attractions:Fly fishing on multiple local creeks and rivers such as the Bitterroot. Lots of historical sites. Go north to Glacier national park or east to Yellowstone when you leave. There are lots of hiking trails and local shopping. St. Mary's Mission in Stevensville has a particularly interesting history. And there is an abundance of micro-breweries.

I needed a place to land in January in Montana. They plowed their parking area before my arrival. They were responsive to messages. The property is conveniently located off the main highway through the Bitterroot Valley. Eventhough it eas snowing and cold, I was able to easily get in and out of the property. The views are spectacular and eventhough there is some road noise, its peaceful. I hope to come back through in the summer.

A fabulous place to stay in the Bitterroot. Lots of activities nearby. Extremely friendly hosts, and a couple of great dogs. Probably the best BW site we’ve been to!

Our stay was great! The hosts were so kind and so accommodating. They have a very large fenced area that was perfect for our dogs to run. Our youngest, Citra, had the time of her life running and playing with their Lilly. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area.
