This location is the parking and drive areas for the nursery and garden center we use to run (too much work getting in the way of our travels, so we closed it). Our home sits on the property and we would love to visit if we are around. Access to the property is convenient to Highway 75 (N & S) and I-70 (E & W). Some shade depending on where you park. Spots are fairly level, gravel or grass growing through gravel, most locations not an issue when it rains. We overlook a fair sized lake. Suggested Local Attractions:Kansas State Capitol Building, Kansas Museum of History, Kansas Children's Discovery Center, Combat Air Museum, Evil Knievel Museum, Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site, Lake Shawnee, Gage Park, Ted Ensley Gardens, Historic Ward Meade Park, World Famous Topeka Zoo. 10 minute drive to a plethora of dinning and shopping choices.

This couple provided a wonderful initiation into BW. Their property IS amazing & we caught a glimpse of the lake out back. Wish we would have had more time to explore, but ours was a one night stay. Hope to connect with these folks in our future travels. Thanks again!

I just joined BW and this was my first stay and I couldn't ask for a better host. Even though I arrived just after sunset, he was very understanding and helped me get parked and set up.

Tom is a great communicator and his facility was perfect as we stopped through to see relatives on our trip. Access & parking were easy. Electric and water. A bit of traffic noise and what is it about wind in Topeka? ;-) We will stay here again!

The host was extremely communicative and we had some amazing conversations that we really enjoyed. we were in the locations grass and had access to water and a 30amp plug. the location was a short ride to topeka which had so many stores to be able to stock up on supplies and have a good meal! will stay again if back through the area!
