We live on about an acre, and there is plenty of room to park a second RV next to ours. Note: if it's been raining (and it does here!), the field can be soggy and may result in your getting stuck. You can check with us ahead of time, but we'll leave it to your discretion, except if the area is definitely soaked, then we won't accept requests. We can fill your fresh water tank, but don't have a hook-up available. We can often supply 15-amp electric. There is a dump station across the street at the County Park. While our location is called Blue Ribbon Farms, that is the name of the community; we are not actually a farm! You will be camping under the landing approach for the small community airport, but there is only a little traffic and it is not very loud—except for one individual. Suggested Local Attractions:We are across the street from the Dungeness Recreation Area County Park, which includes the (Federal) Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. There is a dump station for a small fee (subject to closure). We are convenient to the Dungeness Spit Historic Lighthouse, which is at the end of a 5.1-mile spit for those adventurous enough to walk it! We are also convenient to Olympic National Park and Hurricane Ridge, as well as Lake Crescent. And, of course, to Sequim's Lavender Farms, Sequim is the Lavender Capital of the United States! There are two lavender farms nearby to visit and many more in the Sequim area; some are open year-round. There is a ferry nearby in Port Angeles to reach Victoria, B.C. Canada. Day trips to Victoria are practical.

Retired couple in Sequim, Wash. on the Olympic Peninsula Details: We've lived here since 2014 and have a 3/4 acre property near the Dungeness National RecreationArea, and Dungeness Spit Lighthouse. We have a 27-foot Holiday Rambler fifth-wheel. We take weekend or 1-week trips locally, and in January-February like to travel south. Home Town: We are both from Los Angeles, Calif., now living in Sequim, Wash. Favorite Boondocking Locations: On the west coast of the Olympic Peninsula, a good location is Hobucks Beach Resort, which has a large field for dry camping. I believe there is a small fee to stay there. There are also 10 full hookup spots right on the beach, first come first served; there is a fee for those. https://hobuckbeachresort.com. May be closed due to Covid-19. We also love Harvest Host locations, particularly wineries & farms. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are pretty familiar with the local area, as well as Victoria, B.C. and Vancouver Island. We have basic RV skills, and most tools necessary. There are several RV service facilities nearby, as well as a mobile RV guy.

My stay was much needed after a situation with my RV that hsd me so stressed out. Hosts were responsive and pleasant. The parking was nice and level and the temperature is perfect for the upcoming hot weather! A great breeze blows off the Strait, keeping it probably 10° cooler than inland Sequim. Take a sweater or jacket. it is close yo Dungeness Recreational area and Spit. Easy drive to convenience store and gas station. I’ll be glad to stay again, especially if hot days are coming!
