In the Victoria Park area of downtown Kitchener. A short walk to all the events and festivals that go on in the park and the downtown area. We also have a lovely large backyard that you're welcome to use while you are here. Suggested Local Attractions:The MUSEUM (formally the Children's Museum of Waterloo Region); St. Jacob's with its Farmer's Market and Antiques market is a short drive away; Woodside, the childhood home of William Lyon Mackenzie King; Doon Heritage Pioneer Village and the Waterloo Region Museum are a short drive away as well. Lots of summer festivals and events happen in both downtown Kitchener and uptown Waterloo too.

We're in a dense urban area, so please no hanging out around the RV out of respect for our neighbours. You are however welcome to use our backyard which is quite large and private.

What a ride! I'm one of the original co-founders Boondockers Welcome, along with my mother Marianne. We are so proud to have become part of the amazing Harvest Hosts family. Building Boondockers Welcome over nearly 10 years has been an incredible journey, and I'm excited to spend more time now enjoying the hospitality of the amazing hosts in both the Boondockers Welcome and Harvest Hosts networks. My husband and I live in downtown Kitchener, Ontario (about 100km from downtown Toronto) with our 2 school-aged kids. We don't get away for particularly long stretches often, but hope to do a lot more exploring someday soon. Skills or Expertise to Share: I'm pretty handy with a computer. So's my hubby. I can also sing really well, but that doesn't come in handy nearly as often.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the home of the people who started Boondockers Welcome years ago. Victoria Park is just a short walk away that even in mid winter is an enjoyable place to walk your dog or let the kids use the playground. Would highly recommend Boondockers Welcome to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Kitchener area. Thanks again for a peaceful night's sleep.

A beautiful neighbourhood and wonderful host that greeted us and got us set up and settled. Dog walking through nearby park was a highlight.

Enjoyed meeting the 'Admin' family, who graciously made room for us in spite of their busy schedule! A beautiful area with a huge park not too far away...it was a lovely peaceful night. Would definitely stay again...thanks 'Admin'!

Admin was gracious enough to allow us to stay in her driveway, even though she was not there for the weekend. It is a lovely spot and the surrounding area is quiet to walk around in. It is close to restaurants and stores if the need arises. Hope to meet in the future. Enjoy the summer months. Helm and Sherrie

I want to thank " admin" for their quick and positive response to my last minutes request for a place to park. I had a last minute appointment less than 10 minutes from their location. The location was quiet and perfect for me and my Class B motor home. It was a pleasure to meet "admin". I was able to leave in the morning and after working around the construction and detours and get to my appointment in plenty of time. I would highly recommend "admin" for anyone needing a place to park in this area. Thanks " admin" and hope to meet again soon. :)
