Please read this description to the end. It will answer many questions you may have. Our extremely quiet 10 acre ranch is home to horses, chickens, cats, and goats. Tables, chairs, and plenty of "outside" let you relax (especially if you've been a bit "cramped" in the RV.) Due to the inherent dangers presented by livestock, we cannot accommodate guests under 18 years of age or dogs over 20 lbs. Please do not ask for an exception. Standard electrical connections: 50 amp, 30 amp, and 20 amp (GFCI) are right at the site, and well-water is available 80 feet away. We have WiFi, and cell service is good. Since you will be our guests (not our customers) we cannot accept payments. Because we do not charge for electricity we expect you to turn off air conditioning or at least turn up the temperature if you are not going to present for more than a few hours. Please share your phone number or your stay may be declined. We love Boondocking and enjoy meeting other Boondockers. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights on the brady family ranch, it was a great experience. the horses were friendly as well as the goats too. Karen allowed us to ride Phantom around the pasture some which is always fun. there are some great local places to have dinner, workout at a gym, and only about a hour from houston (depending on traffic). overall it was a pleasant stay and would come back again.

A little communication glitch at first, but i think was due to a web site-versus-mobile app disconnect somehow. The parking site requires backing up, but other than that, it's a lovely spot: level and spacious enough for all slideouts. Enjoyed seeing the horses, and the goats were cute! The Bradys were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable for our stay.

This has been our most favorite stop yet! Karen and John were the most welcoming hosts. Our private spot on the side of the workshop had water and electric. They shared fresh eggs with us and invited us to dinner with their friends. We were able to feed the sweetest goats and I had my very first ride on a horse. It was truly like visiting family not strangers. It was very hard to say goodbye to these warm hearted new friends. Katy, TX had a lot to offer nearby and about 25 minutes to Houston.

Vickie - you were so right to urge me on for a ride on "Phantom." I would have regretted not doing it later on, I am sure. Phantom was so gentle and such a good listener! We couldn't have wished for a better "virgin" boondocking stay or wished for hosts as kind as John & Vickie. I left with tears in my eyes saying good-bye to the animals but I know we want to visit these kind hosts again. They are so kind & generous in their peaceful haven they are so willing to share with others. Thank you so very much!!
