Thousands of stars in the middle of nowhere. This also happens to be the home of Mojave Off-Road Adventures. We offer space for camping to those who might possibly want to book side by side rentals and tour the area with us. Also, we are known as Burch Movie Ranch, so there might be movies filming here. Please, if you encounter a film crew, please do not disturb them and let them to their work. We want to be working on this project now, but should have maybe one hookup near the modular home right inside the most north gate. If they are available, we ask $95 a per day so you can run your air conditioners in the summer. You can ask for partial waved fee if you do not have the means to pay. Strict five nights max rule. You must sign release of liability form to participate in car tours. We have two cats running loose, two security dogs of our own who are inside with us or out riding with us or tied up when guest are here. We are not accepting guest with pets unless you can offer $200 per trip. Our animals are worn out from being tied up while the guests are here for everyone's safety. Please call the number posted on the gate when you arrive and remember to sign the guest book maybe inside an old car sitting around the runway.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Three entrances. Use most north gate labeled MORA with phone numbers on sign. No charge for camping fees if you use your own generators or not hook up at all, but we do appreciate tips. There is an asking price of $15 that campers who hook up to electricity. It is a volunteered fee that we use towards adding more hookups and it helps pay the electric bill. Be patient waiting at the gate, as sometimes host is out taking other guests on guided tours. Call ahead by asking for the number when you have your arrival time narrowed down. We are professional host who love helping travelers feel safe, get rest and enjoy a remote oasis. Desert Sand has hard dirt runways on the airstrips. Should be okay to park on paved Norton Road Street outside gate in a pinch. Announce yourselves by cell phone so we know your here. There might be one car pass by every three days? Nature area. Owls, bobcats, snakes, scorpions, rabbits, coyotes, butterflies. Pitbull outstanding loose on property. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: 200 Acre Ranch Ask for correct location before dumping water/sewer.

Was perfect stop for us between Death Valley and Malibu There were high winds that night but we were able to tuck into a nice spot by the gate

Very good communication. traveling around the holidays and ran into tire trouble so our times of arrival were varied. they have amazing adventures you can go on wirh razers!

Theres a lot of space here in the Mojave desert. We were the only ones here. Shane and his wife who manage the property are nice and helpful. This is big ATV country so it may not be so quiet on long weekends. We did go on a ride with Mojave Outdoor Adventures - fun!!
