We are located where the farms are turning into the north woods with some of both around us. Buttercup Brook and a pond are in our back yard, but not visible from the RV parking area. Our 3+ acres are a pleasant walk as are the quiet country roads in this area. Our parking area is a gravel pad in front of our garage, where our rig is located in the picture. I was standing on the road to take the picture. There is some road noise, but not much unless farms are harvesting crops in nearby fields. (Note: AT&T reception is poor.) We've recently installed a WiFi extender for our guests to use. We've also upgraded the GFCI outlet for guest use. Suggested Local Attractions:This county bills itself as the "Waterfall Capital of Wisconsin" with 13 waterfalls.

Retired in Wisconsin Details: We replaced our older truck camper with a new Northstar Laredo SC in 2018. Then I retired in May 2019 after a career in the livestock nutrition business. Since I retired we have traveled to Canada (NW Ontario) to do some fishing, upstate New York and Vermont, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Nebraska & Colorado, and also explored Missouri to New Mexico. In our travels we enjoy hiking, bicycling, museums and general sightseeing. We pull a 17ft boat when we're going fishing. Home Town: Porterfield, Wisconsin. An hour north of Green Bay and bordering on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Skills or Expertise to Share: In my first six months of retirement we spent 94 nights in the camper. We are still learning how to pack etc for the longer trips. In 2021 we switched to lithium batteries in our camper. When home our hobbies are woodworking and sewing.

What a place to stop, greated with lots of local information leaflets and maps, along with freindly chatter, we extended our stay to see some of the sights recommended. Cant ask for more.

Wonderful location and stay! Best Boondockers Welcome Hosts! Bob and Kathy are beyond accommodating, friendly, and kind. We arrived later than anticipated and they were so kindly waiting up for us to make sure we got situated in their driveway. Parking is on a gravel level site off of a non busy road that is quiet and peaceful. They also offer water and electric which is a wonderful plus for any boondocker. Very family friendly! We travel with two young boys and Bob and Kathy didn’t mind our loud and rambunctious boys playing in their driveway and yard. We shared some great conversations and they even gave us a handmade gift before we left after our 3 night stay. Highly recommend Buttercup Brook!

The hosts were cordial, warm, and accepting. The outlined their reasonable expectations and received us and our dog with respect. They provided excellent local information and brochures. Their hospitality was gracious and generous. We enjoyed our stay that turned out to be a "lazy day" around camp, walking our dog, napping, and catching up on our reading. Thank you, Cathy and Bob.
