Our home includes access to a pond with kayaks, canoes, and fishing. For safety I would request anyone using the boats to wear a provided life vest(flotation device). I have a workshop and have access to many types of tools if you have any minor problems that may need attention to your rig. I have a decent background in mechanics and can assist in repairs if available. We have traveled most of the continental US, the interior of Mexico, and are very knowledgeable of Central Florida / Nature Coast area. *Special note- I was not able to host for several months this year and the dates I thought were blocked were not. The email account that I associated with this site was not one that I checked with any regularity so my response rate fell dramatically without me realizing it. I am now notified in a more effective manner when there is a request, so please do not hesitate to send one. Suggested Local Attractions:Atmore has many restaurants, a coffee shop, and a great public library. The Poarch Band of Creek Indians operate a casino(6 miles) that has an entertainment center that offers a movie theater, bowling alley, concerts, and arcade. The tribe also has a wonderful (small)museum that is within 5 miles that is a great cultural experience if you have an hour or so. The last I went, it was no charge. A Walmart is located 1.5 miles away as well as a coin laundry.

Location
Access Road Conditions: My home is located approximately 3 miles from exit 54 of I65 and 1.5 miles north of HWY 31. The RV parking area is connected to my circle drive. The drive is height restricted on the East side of the circle and is very tight for a vehicle of more than 20 feet on the East side. I regularly pull my 33' class A on the West side of the drive(left side coming from road). My drive is asphalt, and a class A up to 40' will have no problem making the turn into the drive. Parking will be between the home and the pond. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have several acres so parking for a tow in no problem.

we just needed one night to chill before heading to Louisiana the next day. They met us upon arrival and were quick to help setup. Had power and water available. I will definately return if in this part of the alabama again.

Would love to come back! Getting in with our 39foot fifth wheel was a bit dicey but thanks to my experienced driver/husband we had a beautiful, peaceful spot right on the pond and it was worth the extra effort. We sat there the entire day into the evening! Morning coffee with the ducks and geese. Hosts are gracious and friendly. Bella the dog came to greet us, too. Loved it. Thank you.

Great experience for my first visit with BW Host. They are well traveled RV people which makes them very welcoming. Natural beauty and sounds from all the pond creatures was calming and very peaceful. I hope to visit the area again. The history museum with Poarch Creek Indians was very interesting.
