I’m Karen traveling with husband Tim and son Brayden and our friend Dianne Details: We are recently retired. We are the parents of 11 children. Our son Brayden is 8. He keeps us very busy. So far we are having fun but looking forward to finding friends for all of us! Our friend Dianne retired from 30 years of Foster Parenting and is along for the fun. Home Town: We recently relocated to Cabool in southern MO. We come from Reno Nevada where I was born and raised. Tim was born in Phoenix Arizona but lived in Reno for about 40 years. We have a son and his family on East coast and another son and his family in Washington and a daughter and her family in Vegas. We also have several children in the Reno area. We always have someplace to stay when we are around these areas! Favorite Boondocking Locations: As I said Tim can fix anything and loves projects. Or he can jump in a fix a meal. He was a caterer in his former life and also the cook at the juvenile jail in Reno for 25 years. I can clean, babysit or help out with whatever. I’m a great grunt worker! Skills or Expertise to Share: Tim is very handy and has great carpenters skills. He can build and fix anything. He is also a great cook. All I have to do is exist and clean up! In my working life I was a great organizer, multitasker, and able to keep the entire admin staff at our charter school organized. I worked directly under the principal and kept her in line 😏 I also fixed up the students owies, died tears, and kept them on task. Brayden is a very strong willed active 8 year old who can do anything! Just ask him! He’s a great fun little boy.

Enjoyed speaking with the host. Trains are in a distance, not loud but enjoyable to here during the night.

Tim & Katen were great hosts. They reached out via text b4 arrival with instructions on where and how to park. The long driveway is a bit tight to get into but doable. Pretty level too. There was a knock on our door after dinner. Tim's brother had a dog like ours and we proceeded to enjoy a beer together with everyone. Great hosts and close to the highway.

This was a great stop on the way west to Branson and beyond. Tim was very nice and offered a 15 Amp hook up that was a huge help as our refrigerator is AC and would have required us to run our generator. Tim was also a great communicator. We loved how quite it was even being in town. Thanks

This was a great overnight stay on my cross country journey. I didn't really get to meet host due to my schedule and theirs, but text communication was great. Soooo nice to have the option of utilities (I only needed electricity). There is a nice community park 1 block away from the house.

Tim and Karen were wonderful hosts. Sharing stories of when they were fulltime and their Boondocking experiences. Very helpful when arriving after dark. There is plenty of room for a long rig, but you will need to be careful of the ditches. Listen to Tim when it comes to arriving from the correct direction.
