Nice, quiet and walkable neighborhood with easy access to Freeways. A local Trader Joe's (grocery store), Italian bakery, donut shop, laundromat, restaurants and bus stops are all in 4 minutes walking distance. Busses take you to old town Pasadena, Glendale or DTLA. Parking is in our driveway. This space is limited to class B vans under 23 feet long and 7.5 feet (90 inches) or less in width with mirrors folded. No space to accommodate slide outs. This is so our neighbors can access their cars and we still have a walkway in-between our 2 driveways. If needed, water and electricity hookups are provided for a small fee of $5.00 per night (a nice bottle of wine will do too :-). Suggested Local Attractions: Tons of local attractions in Los Angeles. Within 15-20 minutes of driving: Old town Pasadena and Rose Bowl. Glendale with its shopping centers (Americana and Glendale Galleria). Downtown LA. Griffith Park Observatory plus lots of hiking trails in Griffith Park. The L.A. zoo is also located here. Hollywood, Universal Studios, Hollywood Bowl. Santa Monica is a 35 minute drive (without L.A. traffic).

We enjoy gardening, traveling, the ocean and making new friends Details: We have a 19 ft RV and enjoy exploring California's stunning coastline. When not traveling and not working around our house, we like to host fellow RV'ers and meet like minded friends. Home Town: We live in Eagle Rock, CA, which is located in the North East part of Los Angeles. Although Eagle Rock is part of L.A. city, it still has a small town feel. Our street is lined with tall California palm trees, making you feel happy and blessed every day you look up to the sky! We have a decent size yard in which we (try to) grow all kind of fruit trees, vegetables, succulents and flowers. Growing figs is our specialty. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love Carpinteria State park and Doheny Beach. Unfortunately, not many true boondocking opportunities along the California coast. We love traveling the Central Coast and Big Sur. A must do for every traveler! Skills or Expertise to Share: Happy to share my tools in case you need to fix things.

Had a pleasant 3 nights stay at this location while attending a two day convention in Downtown LA and peace of mind my van was safe while commuting with ride share. Also some nice chats with the host. Thanks again for having me and hopefully till next time. :-)

My wife and I had our first experience using Harvest Host and we stayed at California Dreamin for 3 nights. It was the utmost pleasant experience. We were situated in a quiet neighborhood with nearby stores. The host were soo kind, generous, and accommodating to us. We came in late due to traveling from afar and they were willing to open their home to us. They were so generous and shared a tour of their beautiful garden and even shared some delicious fruits straight from the trees in their backyard. They invited us for dinner, but we had plans, but later came back in the evening and were invited to join them around a nice warm bonfire coupled with their renowned margaritas! We couldnt have asked for a better first time experience with such amaxing hosts. We are hoping to have a chance to come back again and would recommended them to anyone who enjoys and appreciates a beautiful garden with like minded, kind, geneous folks. Can’t wait to til we can come back again!

When we arrived, Geralt and his wife were already waiting for us. We were greeted friendly and instructed on how to get our RV parked. Electricity and water were provided for a small fee. We had a beautiful view on their yard. I really can recommend this boondocking place.

California dreaming is a lovely spot if traveling through the LA area. Geralt met me in front to help with parking, seeing it is a tight fit. My chinook is 21 feet and fit fine. Beautiful neighborhood and kind and friendly hosts! Thank you for a good nights rest!

This spot was perfect for a few nights. They greeted me upon arrival and made sure I was settled comfortably. Their garden is beautiful and the neighborhood is safe and a nice area to walk my dogs. They invited me to the back yard for drinks and snacks by the fire the last night I was there and had a fun engaging conversation. I had a great experience and hope to stop by again when I am in the area. Thank you for hosting!
