Semi retired couple loving living rural. Details: We live on 40 acres of rural Wisconsin. Although not to far from hwy 29 you get the “off the beaten path” feeling heading down the driveway. After a visit you will experience the beauty of our location and understand why we live here! Sun sets, the pond, evening sounds of the wildlife are part of your stay. We are a semi retired couple in our 60’s. We been business owners most of our lives. We like RVing, old cars antiques, kayaking and canoeing. Kids are grown. Home Town: Cadott, Wisconsin home to Country Fest. One of Wisconsin’s largest outdoor country music festivals. Located alt the intersection of Hwy 29 and Hwy 27. The Yellow river flows through town and we claim to be located half way between the equator and the North Pole. 45th parallel. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Arizona. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have a nice large shop at the house and I been a fix it guy my whole life. I could help you with light mechanical work or welding you might need. There is a local tire shop that makes house calls here if you need it.

Camp Cadott has a nice open field with alot of room to move about. Also a lot of room to hike and roam. John & Marilyn were gracious hosts. We sat around a fire on their patio and connected one evening. Just what you hope for in a BW stay.

We arrived late so we didn’t meet our host until the next morning but when we did she was very friendly. Directions and instructions were clearly communicated before arrival. The spot was a dream. Located on a beautiful property, the lawn was easy to pull in and out of without much maneuvering.

A bit off the beaten path? Yes...and in this case, that's a wonderful thing! Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by woods, but lots of well-kept open areas, too, including picnic table and a little pond with fountain. The hosts were gracious, and even invited us to join them and their visiting family to enjoy the sunset from their ample porches and firepit. Lots of interesting and fun signage and other "creations" to be seen. Thanks for everything, "JohMar"!

JohMar were great people, very welcoming and have a large beautiful property. We looked for frogs in the pond and they showed us around their awesome shop and home. They gave us good recommendations for other areas to visit in Wisconsin. If we are ever in the Wisconsin again we will come say hello.
