This sloped wooded retreat is located in the rolling hills of central PEI, between New Glasgow and Stanley Bridge. After enjoying BW hosts around North America prior to the pandemic, I wanted to give back to the BW community by providing a peaceful get-away for guests and our family. It is very quiet and safe place for you to unwind or leave your RV while exploring beautiful PEI. Suggested Local Attractions: We are located in the center of PEI, so everything tip to tip is within a couple of hours. Within 10-20 minutes of our location, there are several beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, trails, and more. The most famous are Anne of Green Gables Museum and the Cavendish tourist area. We are just 35 minutes to both downtown Charlottetown and Summerside.

Location
Access Road Conditions: This location is approximately 250 metres (less than 1/4 mile) down a sloped cottage lane that has some right angle turns and can be rough if there has been heavy rains. Take your time and ride the higher parts. Others have have no trouble getting in 37' long or 13 1/2' tall travel trailers, 5th wheels and motorhomes. There is plenty of room to drive into the lot and turn to back into our guest parking area. My goal is to continue reducing the slope of the land but am at the mercy of contractors availability. The efforts to clean up post tropical storm Fiona's debris continues and we look forward to returning PEI to it's former beauty in the coming years. I am currently transitioning to a retired full time RVer that is happy to share my home base to others interested in exploring this great country. When not travelling I enjoy spending time with my family, enjoying all PEI has to offer, volunteering, planning up-coming travel, and yardwork. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing travel and vacation ideas for PEI and learning from others travel adventures.

What a wonderful stay! Brenda was so helpful and gracious- she gave us maps, visitor guides, and flyers with current events which made it so much easier to navigate our first trip to PEI. It’s great to stay with someone local who can share their favorite spots, especially when they are a fellow photographer 🤗. And we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Brenda when we were back at camp. Camp Doyle is in a peaceful countryside setting and also in a perfect central location for day trips. A must stay if you are traveling through. We will definitely stay again if we’re ever back in PEI!

Great Communication. Host texted us and had concerns due to massive amounts of rains, which we also had concerns about. We cancelled, and she totally understood why. Nice touch to let us know road was slick. Next time we are back we will for sure stay here.
