The wife and I enjoy boondocking / dispersed / dry camping and meeting people. We do indeed understand the challenges of finding a safe, legal place to stay and are glad to share our location with you! If traveling on interstate 70, we are about 10 minutes South. If traveling on interstate 75, we are about 30 minutes West. We have room for several RVs but a limited number of spots if the weather does not cooperate. Including the barn drive, we have 4 30 Amp hookups, two water connections and WiFi covers the entire camp. Camp along the creek and listen to the water flow by near the sycamore trees. Plenty of bird, duck and occasionally a deer will pass by. As of 5/10/22, the barn drive spot now also has permanent 30 Amp and water connections. Requested amounts to help with expenses are: $10 per day for 30 Amp electrical $ ? Firewood - a donation 'mail-box' is on the outdoor storage cabinet. Your discretion on use vs amount :-) The water is softened well water. | | Suggested Local Attractions:United States Air Force Museum. Quiet time is 10PM to 6AM. (Generator use is OK 24x7 if there are no other campers around) You must remove and transport away your own trash. The pool is not available for use due to insurance restrictions. If your rig's jack-stands will sink into the turf, then use of some sort of device to spread out the weight is required. Nothing illegal - Speaking of legality, this has to be stated in the world in which we live.... *Any creek or waterway presents unique hazards and Rocky Run Creek is no exception. Any activity involving the creek must be done so carefully and at your own discretion and risk.* (By requesting a stay you acknowledge and accept this hazard advisory). Now back to the fun part... Enjoy, and give us a shout if you need anything!
Location
Access Road Conditions: The gravel driveway to the barn is used for most spots. The best flat area for an overnight stay is just outside the barn where we park our RV. We can accommodate two rigs in the barn driveway if needed. If it is going to be rainy, then the creek side spots will not be available. We are on turf down by the creek, and its weather permitting access only. #ATTENTION Class A RVers# that are towing without the ability to back. *If* it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the barn driveway but if unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Again, only if too wet to access the creek area camp spots. Pet owners: The "Dog off-leash area" is adjacent to roadways. There are about 4 acres of area your pet is welcome to roam, but please be advised of this hazard. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Maximum size for creek side camping is unlimited, however if the barn driveway is used, its best to be under 55 feet to include the tow vehicle.

The wife and I enjoy RV travel, boondocking and a sense of adventure! Details: Christian couple that enjoys traveling. We host 'Camp Rocky Run' and as BW hosts, we do indeed know and appreciate what is involved with hosting. We will follow your rules! We enjoy cycling and often take the scooters or eBikes with us in the pickup truck. We have had an RV since 2019. Our unit is equipped with solar power, so we rarely ever need electrical hookups. Put us in the sunshine and we are good to go! (Yes, we have air conditioning that runs on solar!) We are quiet, do not smoke or drink or 'party'. Home Town: Eaton, OH Favorite Boondocking Locations: In the back yard, down by the creek or anywhere that has a nice view! Camping with the grand kids is great! Skills or Expertise to Share: Custom computer networking, routing, WiFi systems, firewall, and bandwidth sharing. PtP microwave and fiber transport. Electronics and security. Amateur radio. We enjoyed an overnight by their barn. Electric was available if we needed it. The gravel driveway to the barn is accessible from the road so we didn’t need to drive through grass to set up. The views of the creek were gorgeous and even more impressive in the morning after a night of rain. We were there in winter but I can see the fun of those creekside campsites in the summer. Camp Rocky Run is set up to make a memorable camp experience.

Their land was so nice! The area was spacious, they had electric and water if needed! We were there as a quick weekend get away from the city (Cincinnati). You can tell they've put a lot of time and effort into the place. They even had firewood avaliable for a small donation fee. The place was gorgeous!!!

Such a wonderful spot! Communication was great, and the host met us up by the road to guide us in. Big, open, and easy for big rigs to maneuver. Kids loved to play outside - lots of room to play at the shallow creek's edge or kick a football around. Quiet and dark with some light road and train noise beyond the creek and far trees. Hosts welcomed us with brownies (yum!) and a helpful page of info. The shared picnic table, fire pit and swing were just lovely. The internet was amazing! Thank you for a great stay!
