"walla walla" is a First Nations name meaning "many waters" and this is what we have! Our yard is a beautiful 1 acre crystal clear pond for swimming or just admiring! Besides the pond, there is a river behind us and a creek to the south of us. There is a municipal dump station about 8 km South from us that is only open during week days, and another about the same distance North from us that should be available at all times. We are conveniently located on a major highway. Our property is 3 ½ acres and we are able to accept one fairly large rig in a premium spot overlooking the water, but we have plenty of room for two or more and lots of easy turnaround space.

We are a happy camping couple, married 42+ years. We have many hobbies and interests that keep us busy. We love the great outdoors and enjoy many forms of travel. We have owned an RV for 36 years, most of this time was spent in a seasonal park. More recently, we have enjoyed the road trip experiences as we adventure out and about to new places with our friends... in our retirement! In our working life, Brian was an HVAC/R Mechanic and finished his career teaching trade school for HVAC/Refrigeration & Welding. Jackie was a customer Service Representative.

We stayed at Camp Walla Walla after attending a family wedding in Mono. We dropped by earlier in the day to meet the hosts and then returned later that evening. The property is gorgeous and the hosts are very welcoming. I wish we had time to go for a swim but our schedule was too packed. Hopefully we will return to the area again soon as there is so much to do in this beautiful part of Ontario. Thank you B and J for your generosity in sharing your piece of paradise!

Easy in and out with fairly level grass parking. Park like setting right beside a large pond. Brilliant. Hosts were friendly and gracious. Only issue to be considered is the road noise. But overall a good overnighter. Thanks Brian and Jackie

Brian and Jackie are super hosts, really good communication before and during the stay. Parking is level and moreover, the environment is like paradise, with pond, trees and river. Thank you so much for your welcome, we loved our stay

Brian and Jackie were very welcoming and made sure we found their little piece of heaven by placing a balloon on the post at the road. It worked! This is a peaceful haven off the main highway, which was loud at times, but setting up camp next to their pond was truly enjoyable! Thanks Brian and Jackie for a lovely experience 😊
