We live on a 3.75 acre plot and the way the property is situated we can host up to 10 rigs. We have 4 sites with full 50 amp/30 amp hookups (water & electric) (one site has one of the dump sites also) and 6 dry boondocking sites (however we can run electric cords to most of those locations also and water to some.) The full hookup sites will be by our house with 50amp/30 amp service and water and 2 dump sites are also available. The full hookup sites are on a first come first serve basis. The sites will be approx. 400 ft. off State Hwy 8 South, 4 miles south of Interstate 30 (Exit 201), approximately 20 miles west of Texarkana, Texas. We prefer that no alcohol or tobacco is used outside of the R.V. because of health reasons (smoke allergies). Pets are welcome and we have a fenced yard they are welcome to run in. Gravel road to grass sites. We are able to accommodate large RV's ( even 45 ft.) with no problems (even with towed vehicles). We prefer no late check ins (after dark) unless its an emergency as it is more difficult to get parked and set up. We are happy to be a Hall of Fame Host for Boondockers Welcome. This was like staying in your family’s backyard, in all the best ways. Nice hookups and the best people you could ever meet. We were lucky to be staying right after Christmas and got to see all the decorations. It’s like something out of a Hallmark movie. Every inch of the house is decorated and beautiful. We were invited to a cookout with the neighbors and everyone was so sweet to us. Highly recommended. We hope to go back.

As soon as we pulled in, Ginny was outside to greet us. She immediately welcomed us and helped us position our rig for the night. She then handed us an electrical cord and helped us with a badly needed water connection (boy did we need a shower). We just stayed one night, but Ginny was out in the morning to say hello, take our picture for her scrapbook and say goodbye. I highly recommend Candy Cane Corral and plan to stop by again if we are in the area,.

As during our previous two visits, Ginny met us at the driveway and guided us to our spot for the night. We had a nice conversation with her and Perry. We appreciated the 50 amp electrical service. Our spot was level, the neighborhood was quiet, and we were happy campers.

What a wonderful place! Ginny showed me where to park. It was easy to maneuver from Highway 8 up their gravel driveway. The space was level and I was able to do a full hookup! Ginny offered an extension for my electrical cord but i had just enough length to reach the breaker. I would definitely stay again!
